Pony Up in New York

Tech Day Workshops are planned for Wednesday morning and early afternoon September 17, 2014, at the Hilton Long Island / Huntington Hotel. The workshop presentations and lunch are not part of the regular NCA Convention, with separate registration and fee, yet to be determined.

Workshops are intended for owners and operators of carousels and anyone else interested in carousels. The workshops are an opportunity to share information and ideas on the maintenance and operation of carousels. This can include; mechanical, restoration, maintenance, operations and marketing.

Tech Day Presenters will include:

Todd's company has worked on the following New York City area carousels; Forest Park, Flushing Meadows - Corona Park, Jane's Carousel, Prospect Park, and the B&B Carousel, and also built the new carousel at the Staten Island Zoo, He will include a Power Point presentation on the restoration of the B&B Carousel for the City of New York Parks Department along with information on work he has done on the other area carousels. We have included a before and after photo of the famous Illions Lincoln Head horse on the B&B Carousel along with a photo of Todd doing some of the detail work on the carving. We are sure many of you will have questions you would like to ask.
