Comments:Purchased 11-11-51 by J.E. Strates & Dr. J.S. Dorton for $6500 for city. Oper. in park 1952-84. Looff lion, elephant & 2 Spillman dogs added date unk. Lion & elephant displayed. Chariots & 3 horses are new carvings by Caldwell & Forney. Reopened in ‘98.
