Date of picture: April, 2004
Another favorite, the kids line up for the chance to take a ride on the trout, and many of these "kids" are adults sporting fishing attire! This variety of trout is named for the vivid red that appears on it's throat and belly as if it has been cut. A popular trophy of many fly fishermen, it is elusive and is colored differently depending on the locale of the West which it inhabits. This one's creel sports a cat's paw peeking out the top.
