Great Northern Carousel
A tucked head style military figure with sword .

National Carousel Association Logo © Gary Nance

The sword carried a significance in battle and also governed the side of the horse that one would mount.

Daniel Muller carved realistic cavalry horses with modified versions of the McClellan saddle of l859. This Bay horse figure, with tucked head, is the more European version of a military parade horse.
