2014 Convention


"A New York Carousel Rhapsody"

The NCA Convention for 2014 was headquartered on Long Island, New York. What a lot there was to see in just four days. Here are some highlights!

Wednesday, September 17
Technical Conference and Greenport, New York


At the technical conference, Bob
Yorburg gave a presentation on the
carving of band organ facades


Bob Stuhmer gave a presentation on the
MIDI music that he did for numerous
carousel organs, including Nunley's


The opening dinner was held at Claudio's,
which is a short walk from the carousel


Claudio's had seating for all 210 of us!


Jerry couldn't resist the chance to have
his picture taken by the Crabby Jerry's sign!
