The 2024 National Carousel Association Convention Meet us in St Louis for The 2024 National Carousel Association Convention Please "Meet us in St Louis" for the 2024 National Carousel Association Convention, September 25-28. The registration form for our convention in .pdf format is Available Here. We will be visiting several beautiful carousels this trip during our regular and pre-convention days. The pre-convention day is on Wednesday, September 25. In the morning we will have a half-day (8:00am to 11:00am) technical conference. There will be discussions on carousel animal restoration, maintenance, and care of the mechanism. This technical conference will be limited to 40 people maximum and will be on a first come first serve basis. Lunch will be provided for attendees of the technical conference. In the afternoon we will be visiting Faust Park and the St Louis Carousel, and the Butterfly house which is an experience on its own. Walking among hundreds of butterflies will be incredibly exciting. And don't forget the carousel! It is beautiful and has been recently checked over by Todd Goings. The NCA group was last here during the Memphis trip in 2008. This event is also limited to 40 people maximum and will be on a first come first serve basis. Lunch is not included with the Wednesday afternoon excursion, attendees will be on their own for lunch. In the afternoon we will be visiting Faust Park and the St Louis Carousel, and the Butterfly house which is an experience on its own. The official start to our 2024 convention begins on Wednesday evening at 5:00pm at the Drury Plaza Hotel Happy Hour Kick-Back, which includes hot appetizers from 5:00pm to 7:00pm (this will replace a formal dinner). Social time will be available during this event, which will be followed by a delicious dessert bar from 7:30pm - 9:00pm.
