Each year the NCA provides small grants (up to $3,000) to carousels around the country to help with restoration and preservation efforts, to ensure that these machines are available for future generations.

Over the last decade, dozens of carousels have benefitted from our grant program. These grants have been made available for mechanical repair, carousel and building refurbishment, repainting, and even for new horse tails!

Important Note!!! Under current IRS regulations, the NCA can only grant funds to an organization that is one of the following: A classic carousel (a carousel created before 1960, or that uses components created before 1960) that is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization A support group of a classic carousel that is a 501(c)(3) organization A classic carousel that is publicly owned.

When the form is displayed, you'll be able to print it by using your browser's print button, or by selecting Print from your browser's file menu. Follow the instructions on the form to prepare and submit your grant application.
