As you enter the carousel building this is the scene greeting you. On this visit, French schoolchildren were boarding the carousel. A spinning tub, operated by the riders, is in the foreground. The top seen here rotates in the opposite direction to the rest of the ride. The ride runs on a track under the platform with gearing to control the animal and gondola movement.
