This photo was taken on April 20, 2007, when the organ had just been returned from repairs in Durward Center's shop. The railing in front had not yet been installed, which is the only way to obtain an unobstructed view.
It's the first time since 1978 that the organ had been taken out, and the first time since 1998 (when the newly restored façade was returned) that the railing had been removed, so it was a rare opportunity. Also, the cymbal and triangle and glockenspiel bars had all just been re-nickeled and look like new.
