This horse was the first figure that was restored on the Glen Echo carousel.
When it was found that most of the original paint was still present under numerous layers of park paint, the horse was stripped down to its original paint and inpainted, so that 85% of the original paint is now visible.
This is the only figure on the carousel that was restored in this manner.
Because of the delicate nature of the original paint, this horse is the only figure on the carousel which can't be ridden.
