In Memory of Marilyn C. Reinhardt 1934-2017

Marilyn Reinhardt passed away March 9, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was 83 years old but always young at heart.

For the past 15 years, she served as the Archivist for the National Carousel Association leading the team from the beginning as the NCA set up the archives in the C.W. Parker Museum in Leavenworth, Kansas. She also volunteered with husband Jerry to create the museum and to serve it diligently.

Always eager to help others in their research she indeed was our best asset. Her organization skills and her ability to take on new challenges were amazing.

She also had an artistic side as she painted the miniature carvings created by Jerry. She would oversee the Reinhardt booth during the Roundabout Faires of our annual conventions.

Most of all we will miss her friendship and caring. They broke the mold when they cast Marilyn - she was one of a kind.
