The National Carousel Association Archives are located in the second floor of the C.W. Parker carousel museum.
The office is manned by a staff of dedicated volunteers that are presently working to convert the huge files of papers and photos to computer format for easier access.
The NCA Archives are a central collection point of information about carousels from the past and the present. Information and photographs you may have on any carousel are more than welcome, and receipts are given for tax purposes for all donations. The facilities are available for research and study of carousel history. A complete set of the NCA publication, "Merry-Go-Roundup" is available from 1973. Some original copies are available for sale from the NCA.
The archives are manned and open only on Mondays at the present time, but can be open at other times by special arrangement. The files are made available to NCA members as well as non-members.
The NCA Archives are located in historic downtown Leavenworth, KS. The mailing address is:
320 S. Esplanade
Leavenworth, KS 66048
