The NCA Census of Operating North American Carousels

From the NCA Census Chairman

Thank you for stopping by the NCA website and checking out the NCA Census of Operating Carousels. I hope you will find the census data helpful as you pursue your carousel interests. Please take time to review the various pages contained within the census.

PTC #18 Jumper
PTC #18 c1909 - Outside Row Jumper Currently operating at the Carousel Center, Syracuse, NY

The census is an ongoing project, continuously updated as new information is obtained. All comments, corrections and additions to the census are welcomed. The information is correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of updating. When traveling long distances to visit a carousel, please call ahead or check the carousel's website for current hours of operation.

The NCA census is available as a printed booklet every two years to NCA members. Members find the printed census a useful guide to take along when visiting carousels or doing research. For more information about membership in the NCA Click Here.

I am in the early developmental stage of the NCA Historical Database of Carousels. This database will include data on all past carousels, including location and dates of operation. I would be interested in knowing the history of or any information about carousels in your area that are no longer in operation. If you have any information to share with the NCA please do so for this important project.

If you have any questions about the census or carousels in general please feel free to contact the
Census Chairman
or the NCA.
