Date of picture: 1992
Some of the animals had been painted over in bright, unnatural colors, some were weighed down under multiple layers of shellac, and others (like the horses you see at the left of the photo) had just been painted black with a hint of color on their saddles and bridles. Notice that at this point, the floor has been stripped and is awaiting its new stain and topcoat.
